Hard Drives

This function is only available with certain asset types. Therefore, the relevant tab may not be displayed.

Displays a list of all hard drives installed on this asset and provides the functionality to update Windows patches.

1.

In the main window, select ITSM > Configuration Management > CMDB. |
|
2.
|
Search for and select the applicable asset record. |
|
3.
|
When the asset record window displays, click the Components tab. |
|
4.
|
Click the Hard Drives tab. |
|
5.
|
To view the hard drive component details, click a line item. The Component Details information box displays. This information is view only. |
Apply Windows Update Patches

Before you can apply a patch, you must have an agent associated with the CMDB CI. |

1.
|
Click Windows Updates. |
|
2.
|
Click Available Patches. The Available Patches window displays. |
|
3.
|
Select a patch(es) to apply and click the Apply button. The Downloadable Patches dialog box displays containing a list of all downloadable patches. |
